Been mentioned for a while and near the top of the odds. Nothing exclusive about that from Echo

Smart money is on Appleton I reckon.

Hartlepool funded his rehabilitation and also allowed him to return home. Don't know him, lot of managers have come from Scotland and had an impact in the lower leagues here over recent times mind.

I think whoever we appoint is probably not going to be a household name, hopefully we are prioritising someone who has a clear philosophy and knows exactly how he wants to play

Definitely- those expecting a manager off the usual list are going to be disappointed.

The statement of Stewart’s business partner that said something like we’re a League 1 club and have to start acting like one speaks volumes about the sort of candidates we’ll be looking at.
