Because their manager never even wanted him, or plays a formation that works for him.
 
Didn’t score a goal for Ipswich in the Prem, he’s not good enough although a great player he’s one of them falls into the not good enough category and the value for money isn’t great as well

Maybe, but we all know some players can raise their game especially in a system that suits them. Ballard and Hume have improved massively since the step up and I reckon that JC would have also made it if he'd decided to stay. Matters not, we'll be signing Jeremy Doku or Oscar Bobb next and we aren't anywhere near the Championship.

Jack clarke will never make it in the prem, if he had pace he's be a prem footballer
 
I’d have him back at the right price, he’d make a decent squad player here & he’s English. He doesn’t have the pace of Talbi but he is a better decision maker in the important part of the pitch. His shooting accuracy is better than Isidor & Mayenda. I’m not convinced by Adingra yet on that side.

In hindsight, I agree. Two games into the season, I wouldn’t have had that optimism

Yea, I loved Jack, but he lacked the pace that I think you need to play on the wing in the Premier League.

At least to play the way he wants to play - i.e. taking players on.
 
He was never used properly in the prem. I would be absoloutely delighted if he came back here and I think he'll be back in the prem sooner than later anyway. but we move on.
