Yes, that sounds great. I like it when someone puts a definitive time span on an injury. We should have Mundle back in the next few weeks, and Watson a few weeks after that.

Spot on.You don't sign new players because you've got people injured for 'weeks' man. Mundle will be playing again in February, as will Watson most likely. Are we really going to bring Jack Clarke back and stifle them on the bench, in order to select a loanee we've already had and sold? They are the future, we need to give them a pathway to the 1st team.

When Mundle and Watson were fit, absolutely literally nobody anywhere was lusting after Jack Clarke. We didn't miss him. It’s a lot to ask to rest your top 2 chances on the return of 2 young players who’ve been out for a long time injured who are very raw.
Watson in particular played a handful of games, how’s he now suddenly going to be a major spearhead towards the PL?! Clarke being here would have resulted in a lot more points for us if he had stayed fit.
Aye, about a 30% drop when you have more than half less money.Do you not think the new signings will have"relegation clauses" in their contracts? I do. They would sell some but I think they have planned for the possibility of relegation, but hoped that they have enough to stay up.
So you know their contracts? They have mainly bought Championship players and given them pay rises. I suspect that those wages will reduce if they become championship players again, or, if they attract interest from premier league teams, sold for a profit.Aye, about a 30% drop when you have more than half less money.
There's no chance their money will return to their previous levels, none at all.So you know their contracts? They have mainly bought Championship players and given them pay rises. Perhaps not, but it won't stay premier league or anywhere near, unless the board are financial idiots. They have taken a risk but even if relegated, they are stronger playing wise and financially. There's no chance their money will return to their previous levels, none at all.
So it's not a problem to have a dozen players on £25K+ a week? Clarke was £15K a week here. A £15M signing isn't accepting less than £50K a weekPerhaps not, but it won't stay premier league or anywhere near, unless the board are financial idiots. 25k is probably top end championship wages. Clarke was rumoured to be on 20k a week when he was here.So it's not a problem to have a dozen players on £25K+ a week? Clarke was £15K a week here. A £15M signing isn't accepting less than £50K a week
In relegation they may do. Most of these signings were championship players, getting a big pay rise, they might not have had any better offers, Clarke for example. Parachute payments will more than likely cover their wages, unless they are sold of course. So it's not a problem to have a dozen players on £25K+ a week? Clarke was £15K a week here. Well they won't be selling Clarke for a profit, that is for sure.In relegation they may do. They may not, but if back in the Championship they have one of the league's best players, and can afford to pay him his relegation wage.Well they won't be selling Clarke for a profit, that is for sure.
Because of the way they have handled him, he has achieved fuck all. Probably gone backwards in his developement.
He's still better than the pair of themWhy? We've got Mundle and Watson, and when they've been fit we frankly haven't missed Clarke. They need to be played and developed, not stifled by loaning back a player we just sold.
It was obvious when we saw what those two are capable of, that it was the right decision to sell a player wanting away. If both hadn't got injured, we would hardly give Jack a mention. He's still better than the pair of them
He is but for the money you'd spend on him, we'd be daft to spend it on a left winger. He's still better than the pair of them
It's wages. Who cares. He is but for the money you'd spend on him, we'd be daft to spend it on a left winger.
Other positions far higher priority.

Erm? He was under contract and went! It's wages. Who cares.
