Incredibly harsh on mkenna and PotterBecause coaches like McKenna are touted as “football geniuses” and they start to believe their own hype.
He plays Clarke as an old style ‘inside left’ because he thinks that he knows better than the evidence proves. He’s wrong and it is to the detriment of Clarke’s confidence.
Football these days is full of ‘golden boy’ coaches that are a one trick pony and are found out when things go tits up.
McKenna.
Hassenhuttl.
Potter (to a degree. We’ll see how he does at West Ham).
Russell Martin
Postecoglu (days are numbered surely…but won’t change his philosophy)
Gary O’Neil
ten Hag
Julen Lopetegui

Yep, 2 or 3 of those and that’s your tv money gone forthe season and wages to pay on top, and still no guarantee of staying up then the usual firesale if you drop to shed wages. Gonna be tough if we get promoted trying to stay up thereAye buying your average Brentford or Bournemouth player is going to cost around £40m these days
What a load shite, McKenna improves players massively 13 of the current squad played under him in league one. The system is more important than any individual, if Clarke can’t adapt it proves he is not up to Premier league standard which isn’t whatever position he plays.Because coaches like McKenna are touted as “football geniuses” and they start to believe their own hype.

If you like.Incredibly harsh on mkenna and Potter
He plays him there (off the bench) because Leif Davis is one of their most established chance creators at LBHe plays Clarke as an old style ‘inside left’ because he thinks that he knows better than the evidence proves. He’s wrong and it is to the detriment of Clarke’s confidence.
Money in the bank? They've literally spunked all their promotion cash. A lot of the parachute money will go on the wages of all the players they've signed. I suppose they could sell Delap. This exactly. They bought some of the better Championship players, probably with relegation clause contracts. If they stay up, great, if not, they have one of the best squads in the league and money in the bank for the next promotion push.
McKenna has chosen to play a certain style and won't change despite it obviously not working. What a load shite, McKenna improves players massively 13 of the current squad played under him in league one. Show me a clip of him doing it bonehead. You truly are an idiot
Do you not think the new signings will have"relegation clauses" in their contracts? I do. They would sell some but I think they have planned for the possibility of relegation, but hoped that they have enough to stay up.Money in the bank? They've literally spunked all their promotion cash. That to me is the sign of a poor manager.
My GodYou need to take the rose coloured specs off.
When he came back from injury for us in his last season, he was terrible.
Clarke was pretty durable too so that should be taking into account also some have quickly forgot when Clarke actually played for us this season and how well we played with him. We are a more balanced team this season because we have a striker not because Clarke isn't here anymore. Why do people keep saying we've moved on and have Mundle and Watson? We don't, we've had neither of them for weeks, and there's no sign of them. I don't expect us to loan Clarke, but if the option was there it would be absolute lunacy not to take it because we have his replacement in the physio room.
Thankyou.My God
they will sell Delap, that's a banker for big money but who else will command a big fee?Money in the bank? They've literally spunked all their promotion cash. A lot of the parachute money will go on the wages of all the players they've signed. I suppose they could sell Delap.

You don't sign new players because you've got people injured for 'weeks' man. Mundle will be playing again in February, as will Watson most likely. Are we really going to bring Jack Clarke back and stifle them on the bench, in order to select a loanee we've already had and sold? They are the future, we need to give them a pathway to the 1st team. Why do people keep saying we've moved on and have Mundle and Watson? Ipswich’s remaining fixtures will ensure they get relegated. It’s a lot to ask to rest your top 2 chances on the return of 2 young players who’ve been out for a long time injured who are very raw.
Watson in particular played a handful of games, how’s he now suddenly going to be a major spearhead towards the PL?! Clarke being here would have resulted in a lot more points for us if he had stayed fit. Ipswich have an excellent chance of staying up so they won’t peddle a player out on loan they might need but if we could get him on loan, wow what an addition that would be I’d snap your has off for that.
Loaning Clarkey back to us would make the Ipswich hierarchy look clueless to their players, fans and the football media at local, national, social and international levels. That’d be multiplied if Clarkey carried on lashing em in here while Ipswich carried on struggling to score enough goals to stay up.It’s a lot to ask to rest your top 2 chances on the return of 2 young players who’ve been out for a long time injured who are very raw.
