For him to go for £15m plus add ons is peanuts for a player of his quality in today's market. I could've accepted the £25m that was banded about as for top Championship wingers, that is a very decent fee. How are we expecting to reinvest and make the squad as a whole better with barely £10m to spend, and that's if we even spend that much.

No issue with selling him...that is the model after all, the issue is with the price, it is pitiful.

Romano confirmed it was £20m “including” add ons. So £20m at the most.

Which is beyond a joke.

100% what we've sold him for. I don't blame him one bit for moving to PL club but we've been well and truly shafted on the fee because we've panicked and wanted a quick buck in the bank.
 
It's highly unlikely that we will ever know the true transfer fee since the days they were announced for shareholders are long gone. The Echo don't get copied in on transfer offers.

As far as I know the whole package is 20 million with a possibilty of a sell on clause? It seems cheap to me but I won't burn me season ticket mostly coz I haven't got one.
 
Going to be just as bad for us should/when Ipswich get relegated and JC gets sold for another 40m, the going rate for players with premier league experience 😭 not a single person can argue its good deal for safc
