Jack Clarke

Only time will tell but we knew this is the model. I don’t like it but we knew this is the owners plan. Jobe Rigg Neil ect will be the same in a year or two.
Just got to hope they don’t blow the money on shite like Rusyn and the Norwegian gadgie from Leeds.
Yes we know it’s “ the model” what we didn’t know is that we will sell for peanuts. Will we now be known as a soft touch ?
Nothing should surprise us with this fella in charge but I can’t see how Leeds get £40m for a player inferior to Clarke and we snap Ipswich’s hands off for £15m.

1. Your faith is greater than mine as we haven’t signed anyone

2. I guess you would have said the same about Mundle et al

3. The chances of him hitting the ground running are remote… if he did sign.

4. We have just sold experience and consistency, neither of which we are likely to replace scraping the barrel
We have signed him, which fucks up your post straight away

Clarke is no doubt a very good player, although i have said in the past i was not a great fan of his as he used to get on my nerves forever coming inside, and forever messing with his hair. That being said i wish him well in his future endevours, hopefully there is a plan in place to replace him, onward and upward. H.T.L.

Forever coming inside 😁

How would that work?
He may have a commission. It's a question I've wanted asking for a while. Rumours he had this at Birmingham and so personally made money from the Jude Bellingham transfer. It wouldn't surprise me if he had a similar deal with Jobe, and maybe others. I'd like it clarified as it would be a conflict of interest imo.

then we would be seen as blocking route to the higher division - thats not what the club are about and we wouldnt want to be seen as that because nobody would come if we did that
No it wouldn’t at all. He agreed to a contract and we will sell when we feel it is right for the club is what it would be seen as.
The same as most other clubs.

Given his role at this club I'd be very surprised if he'd be allowed that, very dodgy.

Aye mate but he's gone, the rest of the team were magnificent the other day, couple of additions and we can still have a good season, people going on like it's game over already
Hope you’re right mate. I agree it has to make us play differently now but we need some serious additions - not anything like last season just 1 or 2 that will take us forward.
I’d personally be over the moon if we did that as that’s obviously what non parachute money clubs have to do but the Stewart and Lihadji money was spent on nearly a full team of players now regarded as our second string.
That can’t happen here.

Aye I'm head of PR

For avoidance of doubt I think our last few transfer windows have been shocking, and the blame for that is squarely on the owners. I just try not to despair too much on here as we have certainly given ourselves plenty to go off in recent times
So you do work for he club?

For all we were soundly beat, I didn't think that team acquitted itself too badly. I think they showed enough to suggest as individuals they could slot into a better side (i.e. the first time) and do ok. Rigg certainly proved as much.
Oh aye, Rigg absolutely. I’m not sure the same can be said for many brought in with the large amount of money we received this time last year mind
