Ah I see the old "if you're a white man you'll be thrown in jail" comments started early

Primates is an umbrella term that includes humans. She's clearly not meant it in any other way. People need to grow up.
As is usual with these incidents it's been blown out of all proportion. She was clearly using the word in its meaning as "leader" or "first" as was obvious from the context. She has publicly apologised explaining that the word can be used with different meaning in another context and the Indian team state they have not been offended. Move on.
But won't someone think of the discriminated against white male 😭

Is the Archbishop of Canterbury also a monkey as he's the primate of all England
If you asked 1000 people the first thing they thought of when thinking of the word primate, I bet 999 of them would say monkey, chimp or something similar. I guarantee not a single f***ing one would say the Archbishop of Canterbury
I don’t think different actually, because I genuinely don’t know - but nor do you. I just find it hilarious, embarrassing and actually infuriating that she’s getting far more ‘leeway’ following this incident because she ticks two boxes.

If it was an Aussie bloke on comms who said it, like Brett Lee or David Warner they’d have been suspended immediately and would probably be facing the sack now.
Absolutely right.

Or Michael Vaughan. This place would be in uproar.

Come on, you know very well that my politics are further to the left of centre than Trotsky - so let’s not play that card. Sometimes that sort of ‘phenomenon’ does occur and is true from time to time, as it is being here. Mikey Holding described it perfectly in his book ‘How We Rise’.

Primates does indeed cover ‘human beings’, but it is also very commonly used in relation to racial prejudice and discrimination.

ive watched most of the Ashes on an Aussie feed, and i really like her on comms and presenting, The Aussies must too, she's basically their Atherton on Fox Sports, she does all the presentation stuff after the games

She was great for Sky Sports, but then left for the BBC. Still does Sky sometimes and other broadcasters around the world
