Disappointing news for many in Britain I'm sure although the Sky deal was never popular here. Hopefully another broadcaster picks this up or they finally improve the woeful GAAGO service.@Cú Chulainn
Sky Sports’ nine-year broadcasting deal with the GAA has come to an end.
Following negotiations that have been taking place over the last year for a new media rights deal that will run for a further five years, Sky and the GAA have terminated the partnership by "mutual agreement."
Sky were keen to continue for another five years at least and wanted to expand their coverage to incorporate up to 16 league games as well but that did not work out.

Given the new format next year there will be no shortage of games that people are dying to see
Possibly, they've had league coverage in the past which was grand. Virgin Media is a big terrestrial broadcaster here and i think they might get involved. They currently show Champions League, Europa League, International football and 6 nations all free to air.Surely the obvious candidate is Premier Sports?
Fair play to the lads from the Bronx. I'm hardly daring to think this could be Mayo's year for Sam. So far so good. Should be a close one today agin the Rossies.Congratulations to New York GAA on a seismic result. The expats have been threatening this for a while. Incredible achievement
