Some pretty good performances from the England players so far (of those who've played) with the exception of Jordan and Buttler. Early for them though.

there are shed loads of aussies and NZ coaches n staff there maybe that’s it

it feels much harder for English lads to get a deal over the years

The answer to that question is pretty obvious, in that whoever is signing Williamson and Smith think they better players than Root.

As I said earlier there’s been a much bigger Aussie,NZ and saffer influence on the coaching staff

I would imagine, that teams want to win games, and to do that you pick players to win you them games, and selection will be based on that rather than the nationality of coaching staff.

Hence they must think Williamson and Smith are better players than Root as I do.

Yeah of course just making the point that the people selecting the players are more qualified to do that than The Rat.
