Bit harsh - their test cricket has been superb over the last couple of years.I think England need to start acting and taking things a little more seriously tbh.
They’re coming across like a boys club who would rather play golf and and have a little bit of a giggle at the cricket at the end of it.
If they get skittled for 150 in the opening Test and then come out with “that’s just the way we play” afterwards I might spontaneously combust.
They will undoubtedly play aggressively and the chances are you will be spontaneously combusting at times. The difficulty with this is knowing how well we would have done with a more conventional approach. Last time we tried that in turning pitches we were also skittled out for next to nowt.I think England need to start acting and taking things a little more seriously tbh.

Is that a max of £14 for 5 days cricket? There's a thread on TripAdvisor about Hyderabad tickets, which are expected to go on sale 7 to 10 days before the match.
Have copied and pasted this info for Vizag :-
The tickets for the 2ND TEST IN VIZAG are going live on 15th January on the paytm insider website. This is official.
The prices of the test match for one day are fixed at ₹100, ₹200, ₹300 and ₹500. Meanwhile, the prices for the entire five- day test match are fixed at ₹400, ₹800, ₹1,000 and ₹1,500. The tickets can be booked from Paytm app or insider.in website, the secretary said.
However, there is no update yet with regards to the Hyderabad test, we can definitely expect everything to be pretty much similar.
Yeah.Is that a max of £14 for 5 days cricket?
Incredible value even if relative.Yeah.
Cheapest 5 day season ticket looks to be £4 or so.
Thought it might be slightly higher, as I remember paying Rs1,500 in 2016 in Vizag. Same prices
£500 here for 5 days.Incredible value even if relative.
It can be cheaper to go to India for two weeks than 5 days in a London hotel to watch us at Lords.£500 here for 5 days.

Meanwhile it's nigh on 100 notes for a day at a Test, paying £7 a pint and a tenner for a burger.Cost me £900 to gan to Sri Lanka and watch two tests in 2018. £2 a day for the cricket.
For years we took things too seriously if you can do that, in the sense they were like frightened rabbits last time they played in India, scared to play a shot devoid of all confidence and India just had men around the bat waiting for the inevitable wicket. They will undoubtedly play aggressively and the chances are you will be spontaneously combusting at times. The difficulty with this is knowing how well we would have done with a more conventional approach. Last time we tried that in turning pitches we were also skittled out for next to nowt.

I love Test cricket dearly, but we are so ripped off.
$75 for a test match pass in NZ last year. In a similar/wealthier country than England that was unbelievable value.Incredible value even if relative.
ECB and already rich county greed.$75 for a test match pass in NZ last year. In a similar/wealthier country than England that was unbelievable value.
