Greed or maximising income? I would estimate that the London venues at least double the income that the provincial grounds could raise.
So long as the provincial grounds get regular England T20 or ODIs I think it's fair enough.

Since the beginning of 2010. Oval and Lords are our worst grounds for win/loss ratio. Those grounds favour away sides.

We've won 6 out of 6 at CLS tests at CLS since it became a test ground. We sacked off playing there over greed, instead of what is best for England and spreading the game around the country.

f***ing hell. I knew our record at Lord's was crap, but I didn't realise we were so bad at the People's Home of Cricket.
Maybe it's bias, but I can only think of positive results (mind that's mainly Ashes) :lol:

Also we’ve not beaten the Aussies there since 2013. Lost in 15, drew 19 and lost 23

I can’t find any detail on that, but I’m sure it will. News this morning that Disney may pick up the UK rights, I’m guessing, for broadcast on Star.

Jio is who has the rights in India now, post on another cricket forum and that's what some of the Indian posters said. Was Hotstar/Disney

Tickets on sale for Vizag, cheaper than expected, Paytm insider, 1,000Rs for the most expensive season tickets.

In the SE lower, where most England fans were last time, it's 500Rs per day, doesn't seem to be any season tickets. Can order online and download to pdf.

If it all seems too easy and not like India at all, no worries, back to normal in Hyderabad.

Tickets there go on sale on the 18th, a week before the match, and can be ordered online but only collected at the Gymnkana, which appears to be 11 miles away. Or just go to the Gymnkana and buy them there. Should be interesting as I arrive at the airport at 7p.m the night before.
A bit like picking your tickets up at Upton Park for a match at Wembley.
Season tickets start at 600 Rs (200 a day), the next price is 3,750(1250) which is very expensive for India

There are 5-day tickets for the SE lower, I've bought some, but you're right it was all far too easy. The website was easy to use and the payment went through without a hitch. There's got to be a catch somewhere.

I think that the SE and SW lower have sold out of 5 day passes.
