Tell that to a mag.
A supoze wer just divnt undastand.

Palace spent loads had shit managers fucked up...

Tottenham spent hardly anything but have a good manager so doing well...

Surely if Rafa is the messiah and Jose, Pep and Robson combined into one then they should be top 4 by now

Just divent understand wor kid, just divent understand

Ashley is praised for keeping the finances in order and blamed for not spending ...... sometimes simultaneously.

If I mowed your lawn, then vomited up your stairs. You'd be right to praise me for mowing your lawn and right to criticise me for spewing, right?

Sorting finances and being niggardly in the transfer market aren't intrinsically linked, and, surprise surprise, they're more complicated topics than that.

It's current premier league clubs
Right, and so, because it's current spend Brighton and Huddersfield's 1 £50m in an inflated market becomes their average and teams like Stoke who've been in for a decade could have spent £150m 1 season and nowt for the other 4, thus giving them a lower "average" net spend.

If that table was worth a damn it would have teams who've been in the Premier League during the past 5 seasons, how many seasons they were in the top flight, their gross spends, their nett spends, the number of players bought and sold too.

He's got the best job in football.

Things go well and it's down to him. Things go badly and its not his fault.

They're like love struck teenagers when it comes to Rafa. I used to find it a bit pathetic not now though, now I find it highly amusing

You asked

How do those gross spends stack up against other Premier League clubs?

So I supplied a simple table of premier league clubs, never realised you meant all clubs. Go and do your own calculations if you feel you have something to prove
