To cut to the chase there's rumours down our way that we are in for Honeymoon, but it appears the rumours have apparently came from your end. I'd be surprised if we were in for him because, with respect, the small amount I've seen from him he's looked gash & I don't think he's good enough for a team competing in League One.

Honeyman will probably do okay in a decent championship side if he has a load of giants alongside him. Otherwise he will get found out and quickly become a boo boy

Sadly he’s not captain material on the pitch. He’s not a real leader and although he’s a decent finisher he just runs about, some might say like a chicken with no head on.

I said he's ok. He has a good engine, and chips in with a few goals. If we can replace him with better, great. I just don't think he is as bad as some people say

He was even f***ing worse in The Championship than he was this season just finished. His seven goals didn't mask that fact

Can't remember. He was/is a good one/two touch player when he's close to people. I don't think he has a fantastic range of passing or anything.

Touch is poor, passing is poor, crossing is poor, shooting is woeful, not a good tackler, not good in the air, not quick, not strong.

He does run a lot though. Although it’s worth saying that most of the running he does puts him out of position and he doesn’t do enough to get back into position.

He also likes to make runs enthusiastically while pointing, unfortunately these are usually cowardly runs into areas where he can’t actually receive the ball - some fans do fall for this though.

Wouldn’t stand out as a good player in league 2 imo. He’d have to drop down a few divisions where he would only stand out because he’s fitter than others around him.

I do hope some poor fuckers sign him, just to take him away from us, but I think i’d feel sorry for whoever ends up with him. Apart from if Newcastle signed him, obviously.

He was linked with Sheffield Wed last summer and I actually think that giving him the captains armband was down to that to ensure he stayed.

That said, he is keen, runs all day but frankly, doesn't have a position nailed down. Never good enough to play as a 10 and too weak to play in a middle as a 2. Personally, would be happy to get couple of million for him and move him on. He was a big issue for us this season as he just had to start being captain and frankly he shouldn't have been.

He was given the captaincy at the club this season and although that was undoubtedly a proud personal milestone it made him virtually undroppable - something his performances didn’t warrant.

His work rate can’t be faulted but I’m not sure the manager knows his best position.

Thanks for all of the information, basically confirmed what I thought about him. I'd be surprised if we are actually in for him, probably poor journalism as it was reported we were in for him last season.

He's played 22 minutes all season & only made the bench 10 times. It's an awkward one with him because it's good to keep him around our first team, due to lack of professional football experience, but a loan would be ideal for him. I wouldn't be surprised if you signed him on loan next season.

Not a mag, Bristolian living in London. Your 3-3 comeback with us last season sent us on a downward spiral making sure we didn't get the playoffs.

Love this, great player, championship, possibly premier league player too, great engine, can build a team around him, never goes missing when the going gets tough, ideal signing and was a big Bristol fan when he was younger, Wayne Allinson and John Frain were his idols.

Seriously though, out of contract, shit season, given the captaincy, can’t take it off him, best thing to do is sell
