I thought he was signed as a left back?I see a lot of our fans slating him after todays performance.
IMO he has looked solid, playing out of position also, which shouldn’t be forgotten.

There will be a few lower premier league teams looking for cheap players to bring in, many of them won’t be willing to pay the price & wage demands of established premier league players. By cheap I mean around £10m. Most of the premier teams are maxed out on FFP.Ballard sold to who like? He’s a long long way off premier league level.
Not sure why, if the identified need was for a left back, we signed a 6'2" centre back.
He's not a bad player clearly, but vs Plymouth made a few mistakes and was at fault in the run up to the goal on Wednesday.I see a lot of our fans slating him after todays performance.

Ridiculous comment, the same was being said about Hume before he had a decent run. He’s just not very good.
Hes not a left back so is doing a job I suppose
So your saying we needed a left back and brought In a centre half instead?I see a lot of our fans slating him after todays performance.

Not sure he was that good today5/10 in every game so far
4.5 yrs contract. That’s the thing. He’s just in there as a stop gap - not being picked on merit.
He’s run of the mill and will be playing in League One in 12 months.
