Out of sight out of mind! The only striker worth playing now is rysun.
Hemir and burstow are not good enough. Simple as that for me.
And why send mayenda up to Scotland. He looked better than the above two .

A lot of people would have said the same about Clarke salter and Jimmy dunne when they were here and both have had decent championship careers. Burstow must have something to make it all the way through Chelseas academy but for whatever reason it's just not happening here. He's in an out of team, hardly had a run of games and has never got a rhythm of games. yeah he has been shit but there has been the odd good touch.I have seen enough of both Hemir and Burstow to persuade me that neither of them is good enough for this level of football.
I accept their are mitigating factors for both that has had an effect on their lack of impact however one excuse that we need to stop trotting out is the supposed lack of service.
They don t make the runs, they don't challenge their markers, they don't demand the ball and they don't try hard enough to score.

Hemir is out of his depth and I feel sorry for him. I wouldn't write him off yet but.id be very surprised if he carves out a career in England. A strange move by us and by him tbh.
I’d take Glen Taylor from spennymoor over Hemir and I have absolutely no doubt about that whatsoever. There’s a few in this thread said that Hemir wouldn’t get a game for an amateur team like Seaham for example.
I genuinely think this is true and that equally, we could sign any journeyman semi-pro centre forward bruiser from non-league who would do a better job for us.
Hemir shouldn’t be anywhere near our team and the fact that he is illustrates perfectly why the current owners are not fit to be here
Hasn't he been nominated for EFL's young player of the year?
I see you’re that desperate that you’ve tagged me twiceAbysmal @Blyth![]()
Not allowed to talk sensibly on here.Brighton offered him a four year deal before he joined us. What was their plan with him? A season in the U21’s? A loan abroad?
Clearly he’s not ready for this level yet but presumably there’s a player in there if his development is managed correctly.
He had some rare moments against QPR where he’d put himself about and would hold off defenders before laying it off - and in these moments he looks a handful.Brighton offered him a four year deal before he joined us. What was their plan with him? A season in the U21’s? A loan abroad?

A simply stunning deflection, have a likeI see you’re that desperate that you’ve tagged me twice![]()
I haven’t deflected anything. The strikers have been mismanaged horrifically this season, both under Mowbray, Beale and Dodds. Starting a game, out for 10 games. Same pattern for all of them.A simply stunning deflection, have a like![]()
Also up for a sensible debate apparentlySo Hemir is lazy and can't be arsed, can't hold up a ball, can't jump and struggles to run because he has been mismanaged, reetio![]()

The lad would struggle in non league he is that bad, some on here reckoned he was the second coming of christ after scoring a couple of goals in pre season, put him up against a competitive opposition and he stands out for all the wrong reasons, and all that on the back of a 5 year contract. Also up for a sensible debate apparentlyits a shame actions speak louder than words

He’s depressingly bad mindThe lad would struggle in non league he is that bad, some on here reckoned he was the second coming of christ after scoring a couple of goals in pre season, put him up against a competitive opposition and he stands out for all the wrong reasons, and all that on the back of a 5 year contract.
I wouldn't mind as much if he put some effort in, he just looks like he can't be arsed. When we broke against QPR for example with Ba, he just jogged up the pitch, not arsed about making a run in to space, it is shocking to watch. I posted a few days ago, watch him warning up, always on his heels, never breaks a sweat and his shooting technique is atrocious. He’s depressingly bad mind

How anyone expects them to do the biz when they don’t get any consistent run in the team is baffling in itself. The club need experience as well, it’s clear as day, but I’m certainly not gonna slag off players.
Neither of our owned strikers have played more than 4 times in a row.
I’m always here for a sensible conversation if you’d like to engage likewise. Until then just keep bumping with clown emojis as I think that’s your limit when it comes to a debate.

Mismanaged
Since the first game of the season I've heard this about Hemir and someone even suggested Mowbray had purposely stopped fullbacks getting forward to make Hemir look bad, so he could got back to not strikers. which completely ignored we'd changed formation to get Jobe in as one of two number eights
Hemir isn't very good. He's neither got the application or the knowledge or the overall ability by the looks of it. He should be absolutely nowhere near a Championship side.
The strikers are f*cking crap. Like absolutely f*cking stinking. They are given a run and show absolutely nothing - the head coaches get criticism for playing them, criticism for dropping them, criticism for not putting chances on a plate despite said strikers show absolutely nothing barring the odd cameo. all that whilst we have problems in other areas and we're meant to change everything to support some absolutely lifting strikers. strikers who cannot seemingly sniff out a chance or show any opportunism, make a chance theirselves, or even fit into team play and be semi beneficial.
Give it a rest
Ryan Noble once scored a worldie was it against someone in preseason. Ended up playing local leagues and delivering pizzas iirc.
Some on here should take note that preseason means nothing.
