I'm not competative because I have everything I need...including great banter with around 100 posters on here, most of whom you don't like, so a bit of a pattern forming. Being content is all about percentages.

Glad you’ve got 100 people there mate. The people who I don’t get on with are mostly Tory gobshites who don’t know their arse from their elbow.

I’m sure as a self-described Labour voting Conservative socialist you’ll fit in well with them.

So you shun 100 people because they exersise their democratic right to vote for who they wish. You become more Putinesque with every post, proud to hate others that don't salute your ideaology.

I see @Frijj engaging with a number of posters whose ideology he doesn't share, maybe a dozen or so tops but whether not getting on with certain posters constitutes hatred or Putinesque behaviour is maybe more your projection and hyperbole?
I do recallsome time ago when I called you out on a patently untruthful post you'd made you went on to suggest that I too was most likely a Putin supporter.
It may be interesting to create a sub-sub forum on here how we collectively, as a board, support any geriatric drug addled fantasists who after having suffered brain injuries and adult acquired Aspbergers litter the board with ad hominem insults and irrelevancies.
And I mean that, you really post some provocative stuff Gelan. The region that has the footall team that you now profess to support after switching allegiances in you early seventies saw whole local communities utterly degraded by Thatcher's policies. The devastation was immense and quite rightly some of those affected have long memories.
And you believe, or so it would seem, that after a lifetime you've found a place where you belong. So my best suggestion is to spend some time understanding the culture and the social history of the place. It's somewhere special that has at times been visited by great hurt.

Like you @Gelan I too live in an area of outstanding beauty and like you my partner hasn't enjoyed the easiest of lives due in this case to the cruellest levels of arthritis. So we were really careful when Covid first stalked because of compromised immune levels. As posted elsewhere I succumbed a month ago and it's really knocked me for six and continues to impinge.
There's others who have posted similar. So as a resource until we've all managed herd immunity or whatever I'm in favour of keeping the thread.
And with your history and predilictions for the Bong and other chemical stimulants how best can the board support you?

Tories are the ones bringing this country down.
