Yes. It's got a 63% taper rate, so they'll lose a lot of it as their next UC payment will be reduced.

It is a shame the bonus is affected but if UC is an earnings top up (?) It's a bonus every week .

A £300 bonus to Greggs workers will be clawed back by the state, but bonuses of hundreds of thousands to bankers will be paid via shell companies in the f***ing Cayman Islands and the state won’t see a penny.

Was an unusually normal gadgy - presumed it would have been some boffin. Mind he spoke about it like it was his bairn, he might have just been the lead on its implementation.
Without doubt. Just annoys me that the state will take a £300 bonus back from someone at the very bottom of the income scale, but bonuses to those at the top can avoid tax as they have the means.
