I like mine to have loads of barley in.

I put a broth mix in this time so red lentils, split peas & barley. Sometimes top up with extra barley but this one was pretty much spot on.

Huge stock pot on the smallest ring on minimum. Thickening up perfectly as the barley and split peas are absorbing the stock.

It's beautiful man.

Remember me mam making broth in one of them new fangled pressure cookers. It was shite compared to her old pan. I bought a 6.0l slow cooker a few year ago, time to rake it out.
