I’m enjoying The Gone a lot.Working through The Gone on BBC4 and Secret City on Netflix. Both pretty good.
JealousReally enjoyed KIn, now starting love/hate
American Rust think it's on Prime now Jeff Daniels police chief in the Rust belt atmospheric I think describes itLove and have seen most of the scandi noir ones and the like of ozarks... but I’m struggling for any good ones now.
Any suggestions? Got Prime Netflix
One of the best TV shows I've watched.Bloodline is great. 2 seasons in.
Aye brilliantJust watched first two seasons of Broadchurch. By gum it's grim and I was in tears a few times. The acting is universally outstanding esp Tennant and Colman and the parents of the dead boy Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan. However the actress who surprised me was Pauline Quirke: I thought she was just a lightweight comedy actress but she showed some surly sarcastic chops here!
Just finished 1883, absolutely loved it. Gritty and brutal. Decent cast and epic scenery.Try 1883. It is how the family came to be in Montana. Superb. There is a follow on to that also, with Harrison Ford & Helen Mirren, but stopped half way and not restarted yet.
whats it about?Bloodline is great. 2 seasons in.
1923 is good, in similar vein just a couple of generations further on with same family. Not sure when second series is out as been put back a few times with writers strikes in USJust finished 1883, absolutely loved it. Gritty and brutal. Decent cast and epic scenery.
Moving on to the next series this week, 1923 I think it's called.
Off work this week so I'll probably get first series done.1923 is good, in similar vein just a couple of generations further on with same family. Not sure when second series is out as been put back a few times with writers strikes in US
Dick Turpin 2/10Just started Dick Turpin, will get back with a review.
The soundtrack is just as good too..Aye brilliant
Just finished One Day on Netflix with the lass out of This is Gonna Hurt and him out of White Lotus…. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. Not my usual kind of thing but by the end I was a total wreck.
I would wait.Just finished 1883, absolutely loved it. Gritty and brutal. Decent cast and epic scenery.

I watched them in order, 1883, 1923, Yellowstone. There are other spin offs planned, Inc one called 1944 though going to take a while to make them allOff work this week so I'll probably get first series done.
I haven't even watched Yellowstone so I'm getting the full thing right from the beginning
I would wait.
It is good but stops halfway and hasn’t restarted yet due to the writers strike.
Aye, now I don't know if I should wait for 1923 to be completed before moving on That might be a bit of a wait.I watched them in order, 1883, 1923, Yellowstone. There are other spin offs planned, Inc one called 1944 though going to take a while to make them all
1923 is not as good, but very enjoyable thus far... Very frustrating 'end'. Depends if you are a patient viewer or like me!Aye, now I don't know if I should wait for 1923 to be completed before moving on That might be a bit of a wait.
Would like to see them all in order and fit in the other spin-offs too. If the others are as good as 1883 will be worth the wait. Cheers
