Best not, seen a couple of gigs there and probably where the stage is it creates and awful echo, worst stadium for music until the London Stadium came along.

Bit sad that really. Nice City... we all need to just embrace the whole of the north east not just selfishly refuse to go to a place due to the silly rivalry thing.

Which is pretty much what I said. I didn’t say everybody should eat a steaming turd instead. Each to there own but these concerts bring in big money to Newcastle city, the buzz around the place yesterday was great, fantastic weekend for folk right in the heart of the fantastic Newcastle and he is the hottest act in the UK .Not my cup of tea as i dont like big stadium gigs.

And the buzz factor is true it’s why we were stupid to stop them even if we made a loss as a club the thick as shit council should have subsidised it in a bout of common sense. However think some creative accounting took place to show a loss

Equally people would complain about potholes, bin collections etc etc saying why should the council subsidise a multi million pound business with a billionaire owner.Exactly, the tory contingent in the council wasnt happy that the council give 80k, now 80k investment for 3-4 mil worth of money generated for the city seems like a cracking investment. Surely a tory would see this more than most.
There’s a lot more Sunderland people spend time and money in Newcastle than the other way around. UnfortunatelyBit sad that really. Nice City... we all need to just embrace the whole of the north east not just selfishly refuse to go to a place due to the silly rivalry thing.
Its just the skunk delusions of grandeur and magmedia ramming all the negativesIm not one of them mate. Same on both sides... just a bit sad really.

My daughter is one of them sadly. The shops are bigger, more choice etc. As frustrating as it is, its hard to argue really. I would just rather spend my money in Sunderland, it's my pesonal choiceThere’s a lot more Sunderland people spend time and money in Newcastle than the other way around. Unfortunately

And the tiny tory group railroaded the vast, braindead labour majority?Exactly, the tory contingent in the council wasnt happy that the council give 80k, now 80k investment for 3-4 mil worth of money generated for the city seems like a cracking investment. The best bit of having to suffer One Direction was walking past the queues of people waiting at St Peters as we crossed the river to get a train to Gateshead North from an empty Sunderland station. Is it not just exactly the same as Newcastle ?
