He could make a nice necklace out of them for his lasses 30th
And only shit in next doors garden rather than the litter tray, like most cats. It's cruel and unnecessary. You can train them not to do it by picking them up when they start and taking them to a scratching post. They soon learn. Ours now only scratch outside.
My cats will actually come in to use the litter tray if they are outside, the weird little shites! And only shit in next doors garden rather than the litter tray, like most cats.
Next door's shits in ours, so it's skinchies. And only shit in next doors garden rather than the litter tray, like most cats.
awweef***ing horrible getting a cat declawed @FootballFan , I bought my cat a scratchpost and a cardboard scratch pad thingy which he loves - he's a cat. Cats scratch shit (I've noticed the bugger has had a bit of a swipe at my wallpaper anarl) and I just have to suck that shit up, as any loving cat owner would do .
I did, just clipped the sharp ends off, she couldn't understand why she couldn't climb up the curtains afterwardsbloody hell man, you did it yourself?
Illegal in the U.K.
We trim our cats' claws regularly, it's just like cutting a toddler's finger nails - they'll squirm and complain but it doesn't hurt them .
You can't stop little scratches on furniture (especially leather) completely though so if you are worried about it don't get a cat. Cats are wonderful animals and great pets but they are hard work. Too many people get pets thinking they will be cute little fur balls that will do whatever you tell them to do, then get annoyed when they act like animals!
Is this cruel?
The missus wants this done because she is worried about furniture getting scratched.
I am against it, but losing the war as usual..
I waited until our cat was asleep, pushed out the claws & chopped the fuckas off, didn't cause any pain as long as you don't go too deep!
That actually made me feel sick. f***ing hell. What sort of horrible horrible bastard would do that. Even in the worst case of scratching - get help, give it away to a rescue centre, anything - just don't mutilate the thing. Jesus.
It's just common decency towards our cat brethren man .awwee
Is this actually a thing?
A vet will remove your pets claws in order to facilitate the upkeep of furniture?
Id keep the cat and lose the wife. Sounds cruel as fuck.
And I f***ing hate cats.
Sounds like some middle ground possibly
