Wagons will have a 30 min detour for the sake of 150 yards of road
Why not have the bus lane down the high street

The traffic on a morning sometimes backs up to the start of the flyover and it's busy under. Once this closes it is going to be a nightmare. Even going over redheugh won't help as that is busy already without the extra traffic.
