Well done,looks interesting.
It's also called a bookmakers sandwich and they used to use the book press to compress it,they started work at half 7 and eat at 12.30,so the traditional method says 5 hours.

Different I think, these were made by the cook the night before for the men who went out hunting.
 
I had a lovely sandwich in The Olive the other day. Had Cheese, Ham, Dijon Mustard, Mayo and summat else in.
