It’s the London grounds mate. Absolute graveyards for uswhy on earth would England produce this pitch?
Look athe pitch doctoring India did in India to make sure they won, and we produce this?
Sold our players down the river
Get 5 days play and make their money. They don’t really care about the resultwhy on earth would England produce this pitch?

Isnt the oval always a batsmans dream or have i made that up?why on earth would England produce this pitch?

Bumrah and Umesh are hitting through the line here
To be honest if we were at full strength we’d be winning the series comfortably. They’ve took advantage of an attack that looks exhausted, Overton who should be the freshest has barely bowled.its a joke like
Only country in the world that produces pitches for the opposition
India literally sacked their groundsman when they were 1-0 down.
thats the exact point I making.

there is zero chance Burns and Hameed are lasting tonight
They aren’t. People say this and the results don’t particularly show them to be any worse than other grounds
This is a good Test pitch. We had all the best of the bowling conditions on day one. The cloud cover and some live grass to play with. We then had better batting conditions and didn’t capitalise enough. Can’t attach any blame to the groundsman for producing a pitch that takes the game into day five.
Out of interest, what type of pitch do you think would have played into England’s hands more? A pitch that favours the seamers? Because our batting can’t cope with that either.
Aye i agree with that last bit tbf like. Its all well and good asking for a seaming pitch when our batsmen can cope. They aren’t. People say this and the results don’t particularly show them to be any worse than other grounds

Its almost like you didnt just watch Headingly
Talk that Old Trafford’s square is all dusty and worn too. They’ll play two spinners and it’ll turn square.why on earth would England produce this pitch?

We should stop playing Tests in London.
Hideous record there lately…
Remind me how that went again…. I seem to remember us exploiting day one bowling conditions, putting on a proper total and then applying scoreboard pressure. This game could have gone in a similar way had we batted better first innings.

Some talk of India playing three spinners, Jadeja, Ashwin and Axar PatelTalk that Old Trafford’s square is all dusty and worn too. They’ll play two spinners and it’ll turn square.
We beat them buy an innings mate, hope that helps.
no surprise there
Makes me laugh people who say England doctor pitches, its the exact opposite, we seem to do everything possible for us not to win.
We’ve won our last three tests at the Oval and prior to this series had only lost one of the previous seven at Lords. This London thing is a bit of a myth.
And just remind me of the circumstances of that Test
Are you saying we’ve produced a pitch that’s too batting friendly here? If so, and Headingly was better suited to us, why didn’t we register a score of 450 plus here to take the game out of India’s reach and at least guarantee ourselves a draw?
