Tell you what i cant comprehend...

Quinn boasted that Short abused Crouch at a game after he turned us down. Quinnys way of proving Shorts passion.

4 years on you have short condoning the inclusion of a plodder who has taken the piss out of the club/fans twice, once over a painful defeat.

Link I'd like to see that

Yeah which is attached to the club all this Ellis is putting his money in is horse shite he levied it against the value of the club.

The horse shite mate is the stuff you have just posted...............losses of £25 million a season have to be met from somewhere..........what the hell you mean by "levied against the value of the club" god only knows..............

Apologists? What? So its the folks on a message board to f***ing blame then?
I've no idea how you interpreted my previous post, but I'm not blaming the fans at all, I was suggesting that Short has a lot of supporters on here that wont accept that he is in many ways responsible for our current predicament.

are we really that f***ing bad financially? portsmouth scenario on the cards, was it?

Hard to imagine Short is a billionaire the club has 40,000 fans going every week and we stuck to the bottom of the table. He made 1 hell of a mistake bringing in the 14 players should of got about 4 or 5 top notch players for the money spent.

You only have to read the accounts to see what the problem is.....

Operating costs £26 million more than turnover in the last ones............

still the simplistic idiots on here just think the stuff grows on trees.....

This sadly thinking of Quinn as the saint seems to be the rationale to kick Short.[DOUBLEPOST=1382258507][/DOUBLEPOST]

You got £20 million stuffed down the sofa each year to chuck at the club to keep it afloat. I'll happily back any chairman who comes in invests the same and then more to improve things. Short has been let down by the football people he has had. Bloody hell they always seem to be on the box giving their expert opinion. Quinn, Bruce, Mon, Keane - all seem to be the darlings of the media because of their football insight and knowledge, yet none managed to give us and average team while spending a shit load of money.
Quinn out!

and how the fuck are we losing those amounts? we're no differnt from any other club, are we are special exception like?

Where are the figures to show how much we are losing and how much debt we have? I demand to see the books to see how they are balanced if it's true the club are making huge loses then it's about time you focused on your balance sheet and see where your going wrong.

Who said we were ?

Cost exceeding turnover by tens of million of pounds is something surely even you can comprehend....you,ve even just intimated why haven't we done a Portsmouth if its that bad............Ellis Short is the reason its blatantly obvious and if he chose to take a hit in excess of £100 million we almost certainly would do unless we found another mug to throw money away at a rate of knots

strange how ashley can afford to keep their better players, yet he's doing the same as short. don't see those mag fuckers selling cabaye or ben arfa at the drop of a financial hat.

us - sess, bought for 6m, 6m offered...snatch..hands....your.....off....

Agree with the OP sentiments, our transfer dealings have been abysmal for a few years now & its gonna culminate in an embarrassing relegation that will take the club back years. Ellis Short needs to take responsibility for it.

Thats the way it should be? he is the chairman ya knar?[DOUBLEPOST=1382259286][/DOUBLEPOST]

She made THAT statement which is gonna haunt Safc for a lot of years to come.

was THAT statement incorrect in your point of view? Do you think that she made THAT statement and then made the decision to do the opposite? Don't you think that it is more likely that someone else was responsible for the decisions to sell our best players?

Can everyone remember Ellis Short buying a curry and a round of drinks for everyone after the Newcastle match? Don't expect that again, he's cutting back.

Who created that cost? It was Ellis Short, agreeing to stupid contracts for worse than average shite. The buck stops with him.
