For such a short distance just get on one of the Santander bikes or walk.

That's a 2 mile walk, 45 mins max, take my dog twice a day for that...

Walking is just under an hour. I start at 0630 so that's obviously out of the question.

Right and I have done both for many years to the city, marylebone and now canary wharf. As you should know things like nursery etc are constraints on time hence running and cycling both ways is not possible most of the weekThat is a run or a cycle.
