Yup, Remembrance of the DaleksHard to answer, it’s complicated by timey wimey stuff. If you want to know the first episode with a levitating Dalek that was 1988.
Didn't need them when Ecclestone was Doctor. How long for?
Yup, Remembrance of the Daleks
Never seen her before. Switched off after Baker, resumed watching with Ecclestone.I think that was also the memorable moment a companion (Ace) beat up a Dalek with a baseball bat, rather than stand there screaming in horror….
….although I think Ace did scream at it for exterminating her radio
The Dalek was clearly as soft as clarts. I bet he spent all his days bragging about how many people he'd knacked anarl.Never seen her before. Switched off after Baker, resumed watching with Ecclestone.
Any companion that can bray a Dalek with a baseball bat has my wholehearted support.
Some people reckon the first sighting was actually in the 60’s. I think one emerges through the sand suggesting it had vertical propulsion.Didn't need them when Ecclestone was Doctor.
More committed Whovians than me (I am a part timer, no season ticket) may have earlier sightings
Sounds like the Mandela effect in play there mind. Some people reckon the first sighting was actually in the 60’s. I think one emerges through the sand suggesting it had vertical propulsion.
What I'm taking away from this is that the Dalek species have Mags anarl. The Dalek was clearly as soft as clarts. I bet he spent all his days bragging about how many people he'd knacked anarl.
It does look like it’s got vertical lift to be fair.Sounds like the Mandela effect in play there mind.
Looks like it's probably just a bloke pushing it to meIt does look like it’s got vertical lift to be fair.
From underneath though, up vertically.Looks like it's probably just a bloke pushing it to me
No flight/levitation though. From underneath though, up vertically.
Not clearly but definitely propelled vertically so potentially possible even then.No flight/levitation though.
Was a massive contrast to Mel who I think was the worst classic companion. She did just scream and nowt else. At least bringing her back the other day made her a better companion.I think that was also the memorable moment a companion (Ace) beat up a Dalek with a baseball bat, rather than stand there screaming in horror….

A toss up between her and Adric. Ace was brilliant. To be fair I thought Mel worked pretty well in the new episode. Was a massive contrast to Mel who I think was the worst classic companion. She did just scream and nowt else. At least bringing her back the other day made her a better companion.
