DNECL 2022



As the forthcoming season draws closer are there any recent signings or departures 🤔 Most leagues start on 16th April with friendlies booked in a week earlier.

Littletowns overseas player, now out injured. Hopefully they can obtain a replacement ASAP. Sad to see, as both club and player seem gutted.

A replacement will be being confirmed soon. Awful luck for Hamza as he had been really keen to join for quite some time hopefully he makes a quick recovery.

Fingers crossed mate. Awfully bad luck tbf. Hope both club and players get sorted for season ahead.

Div 4 relegation battle looking like it'll be tight.

Coundon 1sts p6 60
Esh winning 2nds p6 pts 38

Division 3 looks pretty set with Beamish & Horden, breaking away from the pack.
Whilst at the bottom - Easington look adrift. But the other relegation spot keeps changing with Boldon, Silksworth, Ryhope, South Hetton and Marsden. All within ten points of each other.

Division 5.
Kimblesworth, Mainforth and Brandon are all in the running for the two promotion places. Ushaw Moor and Boldon CA sit in the bottom two places.

Division 6
Wearmouth, langely Park, Belmont and beamish are all in the mix for the top two spots.

Plus nice to see Durham City have a tilt at division 1 title. Think it's Brandon's to take though.

Div 1 - Brandon look too good for everyone only dropped two points. Esh Winning given their players and the small fortune theyve spent have been the most underwhelming team. Id expect Marsden and Dawdon to be relegated although Chris Mann has apparently signed back for Marsden this week.

Div 2 - Mainsforth like Brandon too good for everyone, surprise in this league for me Boldon CA however they have also just made another very good signing today so well on for 2nd place. Hunwick look doomed after being pretty strong for a long time and holding their own, Langley Park have lost a few players and struggling to turn out a regular 11 which is a shame as I thought given the last two years performances they were back on the up.

Div 3 - As Rob says above two teams running away with it, Adam Dixon for Horden is just too good for this league so can't see how they would be caught and Beamish are in really good form. After them anyone can beat anyone so wouldn't like to call the two relegation places. Boldon CC would be the surprise strugglers given their instance on being in Div 3.

Div 5 - Id expect Kimblesworth to come up now Scott Emmerson has returned to score some easy runs.
 
Division 2 every team bar probably Peterlee are playing for either Promotion or Relegation. Mainsforth have won the league hands down, but host the CA on Saturday and you'd imagine a win there is the title wrapped up. Anyone from Murton down could get relegated it seems. Quite shocked how Hunwick are bottom as well personally. Be a cracking few weeks to come

What are the up/down place numberings across the board eddy?

2 up, 2 down everywhere?

From what I’ve seen of Division 5, there are three teams who are easily better than everyone else.
