DNECL 2022

This must be a known issue at this ground. Surely they should have chose an alternative venue for a midweek final.
I, and most of the spectators and those involved would agree. If I had a pound for every time I've heard it tonight...

Seems like a right cock up by the league. Plenty of Sundays free as well when it could have been played.

Used to be a regular occurrence at the old Burnopfield ground . Memory suggests bowling from one end to finish the odd game 🤔 Only problem I can think of is the position of the boundary and whether it benefits LH or RH batsmen

Early and late season at Bearpark too (not a ground many frequent)

Watched one game there many moons ago.If still playing every chance it would be my home club 😉
Langely Park now play there as Langely & Bearpark CC
Cracking decision from the Durham Cricket League to amalgamate with the North Eastern League 👏 Obviously strengthens the League but allows one team clubs, those in decline to hopefully bounce back, clubs to find their level and promotion/relegation.👍
Think merger was well organised, with the best of both leagues combining. Could quite easily turned into a takeover by the bigger league. But whilst not perfect yet don't think it turned out too badly!

Yeah the League seems to be serving the clubs very well by understanding the different needs and ambitions etc.👏 Unbelievable what happened to Langley Park but it seems to be ticking over quite canny .
