Last time my friends went, the public could not interact with the Disney characters .( Covid restrictions ) Not the same as being behind a barricade for photo ops.![]()

They've just returned.Went last year 2 weeks wife and 2 kids of 9 and 11. All in was about 13/14k with spends. Big chunk of cash! That was with universal thrown in for a day like to do Harry Potter. Couldn’t get any dining plans at all. Are they stopped now?

Some of those package deals you can get for 2A & 2C are fantastic mind.Went last May. Stopped on international drive. 2 adults, 6 year old. Grand kid. Package deal flights + hotel £2300. Disney tickets £1500. (Seaworld , busch gardens and aquatica) £450 all day dining in the 3 parks.. One day universal £500. About £1500 for food.

We went in 2017 then booked up again for a 3 week holiday in 2020 which went the distance due to Covid. Since then the prices have absolutely skyrocketed and doesn’t appear they will ever drop.I think an £8k family holiday for us has now pretty much doubled. Out of reach at the moment

We’ve been to quite a few lovely places, Caribbean, cruises etc, but for me the Florida one is the best by a mile.We went last summer mate and we didn’t get change out of £15k. It’s brilliant but you could easily get four family holidays for the same price

I was there that summer, just after the final.Went in 1994 .
On a fly drive as it was own back then.
Got a flight for £199 each return.
Walked into the Tourist information on ID and asked about hotel availability, ended up getting a room for $29.99 per night in a brand new hotel near the convention centre.
Worked out including taxes at £20.49 per night
Car hire was £300 back then.
Got tickets for Holland. V Ireland at the World Cup for $30 each
