Disney world Florida

Where was this mate if you don’t mind me asking? We’ve talked about doing the parks in Florida potentially next year if it’s affordable, and that cost and set up sounds quite handy especially the shuttle if it saved me driving.
It was called the Terra Verde Resort, it was just on the outskirts of Kissimmee, that was in 2019 so prices will have changed no doubt, the villa we stayed in was on Pompano Beach Drive, it had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor Jacuzzi and Barbeque. Lots of the villas were rented. There are quite a few similar resorts in that area with similar amenities.

Prices of a Villa have risen significantly since then. Costing me a hell of a lot more this time (in August) than what it has done in the past.

Looking at least £2.5k now for a fortnight for anywhere decent. Still some places available cheaper but generally look a bit worn out.

Tui currently have some return flights May/June for £350 from Newcastle.
Just need to find £1k each for park tickets each, then food and accommodation as well.
We went the first time with TUI and have to say it was spot on. Great service.Let them handle everything .
Second time were sorted everything out ourselves and saved a wedge.

It’s a fantastic holiday doing the parks especially with kids n we first went in 2006 from ncl n then went again in 2007 but from Manchester n saved a bit dosh so worth looking at flying from another airport. Last time was 2018 so prices have obviously changed and also read posts on smb that prices away from the parks for food n stuff have shot up but not sure if it’s still the case n sure some of our other posters will advice.
Its a totally different holiday to the normal sea, sun, sand and if ya can I’d go as it’s unreal.

Prices across the USA in general have shot up over the years be it for food / drink in restaurants, fast food joints or even from the supermarkets.

Definitely eating in the wrong places then!
Definitely, very top food places book out months in advance. Even the basic food places a thought was alright.

It's like a major op planning the park days out like , that's needed so you see n do the most you can otherwise you'll miss out on loads.

Thought the restaurants were the only respite from the scandalous prices of other stuff last time we were there 2020.
Big portions for $10 were the norm.
We prefer to stay in a villa and eat at home at least one of the meals each day
