Disney world Florida

Mind, we're looking at crazy prices for a decent 4* all inclusive somewhere like Mexico/Cuba these days. Having a family of 5 is an absolute killer as there's really rooms for 5, so you need a suite or 2 rooms

And careful if you chose Cuba, bye bye ESTA's if you frequently goto the states it could be a chew!

Take some Cordial and drinks btls with with You for drinks during the day as You can get free iced water from all outlets. We ordered a food and drinks delivery from walmart and took sarnies in cooler backpack some days. Also took cans into Disney springs on a night time as no security check when going in on the bus. Sat and watched canny live music in House Of Blues and outside stages much cheaper than a round $12 from bars, Still warm when we were there in May and June so after a breakfast made in room with being smaller eaters a kids meal was enough for us--they are bigger than kids meals here

Just recently changed again mate. Any travel to Cuba after 2021 and you can't get an ESTA, have to goto London for a visa.

Any travel to Cuba prior to 2021 doesn't matter.
Just read about why.
Basically trump throwing a tantrum days before his time as president ended.

Ffs.

How does the parent swap ride crack work? Never had to use it as never been with kids before.
I’ve just been to Legoland and they had it there. Get to front, parent 1 and daughter go on and when they come off parent 2 and daughter go on with no wait whilst the other parent looks after the smallest child.

So one has to queue normally? So it’s not like a jump the line carry on?

I went in April/may for the first time since covid, the queues are now utterly ridiculous. Even the smaller rides which used to be walk ons are minimum 30 minutes. Tron which luckily was a virtual queue took us 7 hours. Universal very much clear now.

Done Disneyland Florida 5 times now, I have stayed on the parks, hotels on international drive but by far the cheapest was booking a villa. We booked a villa for 2 weeks for about £1100 at the time and shopped at Aldi believe it or not. We did go out the odd night and there was a Tiki Bar on the complex with a pool so we could have a drink whenever we fancied it. The complex we stayed on had a shuttle bus on all day for the parks and we also used Uber for getting around, worked out a lot cheaper than hiring a car.

7 hours queue ?
Aye unfortunately. You could go and take mini-mini on some teacups and meet them at the front of the queue.
Sound. Dunno what I’m thinking taking two like.

I always heard of this, but never saw how it worked until this year when we had the 3 kids. Seems to be the most well-known unknown in all of the parks ime!

Basically, just ask the cast member (I know!) at the loading bay and they'll tell you how it works. Its different for each ride. Some have a ticket, some have a password. You'll either use that to enter via the fastpass queue or you enter via the exit and walk right up.

Aye but it’s virtual so you can still go on other rides, it’s not the same since they’ve added in genie+ imo. Weve got a Universal annual pass for when we go back next year, the difference in price is scary.

Yeah, its not a queue jumping perk - its a "your family only has to queue" once deal. Which is entirely fair. In our case, it meant the eldest got to ride twice which was canny for her.

I think I mentioned before. We used to get the ATD world passes all parks Disney/universal/Busch/seaworld for less than what I’ve paid for just a Disney one for next year.

Where was this mate if you don’t mind me asking? We’ve talked about doing the parks in Florida potentially next year if it’s affordable, and that cost and set up sounds quite handy especially the shuttle if it saved me driving.
