*~*~* Dirty Leeds v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Wow , how utterly predictable.

You’re happy that a sunderland team in the championship goes into a game and plays for a draw, which we got because the ref missed a pen?

I think the lads played really well, baring a couple, tonight but we shouldn’t be in a position as a club where that result is the best we can hope for.

Some decent performances from a few of our lads, but no Sunderland team should ever be coming away in the second tier and just hanging on for dear life for most of the game.

In our current situation it’s a good point, but the club has a long way to move forward to get where is deemed acceptable.
Couldn’t agree more.

In the circumstances though very happy with the point especially because I’ve been messaging one of the lads from work who is a Leeds fan and he’s absolutely devastated! 🤣🤣

Decent battling point. We limited a free scoring Leeds to essentially nothing.

Comes to something when the only attacking moment your discussing is a handball. Good performances all around defensively just wish we were a little more composed in attack as we had some great positions at times.

Other than the possible hand balls, dirty Leeds created very little. I think we had more shots on target than them, with very little possession

Can't really think of MoM, Other than the usual suspects, Neil, Hume?

Bellingham MoM no way..

Totally agree with where we are. We should be going into tonight needing something for our aspirations not just chucking a spanner in Leeds season.

I’d say 9/10 it’s a pretty good point at Leeds whatever the league though. 4/6 against them and I’d love it to cost them autos and lose in playoffs

There’s 2 things to look at. Tonight’s game in isolation - played well good point in a very tough game.

Overall, we should be going into games like that at best slight 2nd favourites. We were 7/1 with the bookies tonight.

I agree with what you are saying and it isn't the way we should be approaching games in this league...but, you can't fault that performance really tonight. We got no f***ing striker man, nobody to hold the ball up and relieve the pressure away from home.

Happy with the commitment and work rate.
Pleased with any teams bar the mags who take
points off Dirty Leeds
I thought Bellingham was poor
