*~*~* Dirty Leeds v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Some decent performances from a few of our lads, but no Sunderland team should ever be coming away in the second tier and just hanging on for dear life for most of the game.

In our current situation it’s a good point, but the club has a long way to move forward to get where is deemed acceptable.
I don’t think it was just hanging on. I prefer to think we almost completely nullified the opposition.

Wow , how utterly predictable.

I’d agree in general but that’s two big club and if we’re in the prem we’re happy with an away point at elland road in general.

I’m happy with the point as it hits them hard and I cannot stand them!

Because in the prem we’re both likely to be fighting to stay up. Both teams would also be a hell of a lot better than they are at the minute.

Like I say, I think the lads did well tonight and I’m happy with the performance. But I’m not happy with where the club is in a broader sense.

It was ok, defended well and rode our luck. Jobe up top is doing his best but he’s not a striker. It’s so obvious what we are lacking and I have no faith we will bother to fix it.

When you’re Sunderland in the second division.

We take the point, accept it for what it was but let’s hope we’re not watching us do that all that often in the future
Well let’s hope we get a forward in over the summer . A set up like that with a decent forward could get wins against the best in the division

Well done lads, good point that, yes Leeds should of had at least one maybe two penalties but they also twice in the 2nd half tried to con the ref into giving penalties by throwing themselves to the ground easily so I would say their cheating cancels out that out. Ha'way the Lads!
True on the penalties. Dan James was also almost exclusively on the pitch to try to sell fouls in the box. One notable moment, he was driving into the box and cut across O'Nien - you could see clear as day, all he was trying to do was get O'Nien to run over the back of him.

Almost as ratty as Anthony Gordon.
