Crowd for sat

I don't understand the last line of this post at all. How many weeks of the season were we in the top 2? Not many. We were not quite good enough during the season and surprise, surprise ended up not quite good enough. People need to arrange events, of course they do, but nobody should have been surprised we didn't quite make it.
I think most thought it was a given we would not be at home first. Play offs a suprise? No. Finished 5th or 6th? Yes

At least we can hopefully get served quicker on Saturday with hardly any one going to the match. Plus traffic will be less, so hopefully back to the local quicker.

I prefer smaller crowds from a purely selfish point of view.

Makes our walk home easier as well although we might drive seeing as it’s a late finish.

Not sure that always works mind! I think those of us who go all the time must be the ones who need drink (can't think why that would be!) because whatever the crowd the queues seem the same. Was buzzing for the checkatrade games thinking no one would be there so could get served easily, they decided to open about one bar per stand, queue the same length as a league game, was f***ing fuming

The more you try and defend your actions, the more mental you sound:lol:.
Anyway I'm done with this thread.
Enjoy your sc in the champo next season;).
Mad as a box of frogs.

It's not just me that is mental though is it? , we have currently sold about 20k home tickets versus circa 38k in the league fixture. Clearly a massive number just don't want to go to the game.

Nothing is decided Saturday.

Everything is decided Thursday.

Thursday is more important.

Aye but get beat Saturday 5-0 and Thursday is pretty much irrelevant. Same goes for if we win 5-0. I see what you're saying mate, but don't agree. For me, both games are of equal importance.

Oh aye, one thing I was looking forward to last season, was being served quicker, then they closed one of the bars in the south stand so was. Glad they reopened it this season. Better not be closed this weekend.

Gutted that I can't go, and it's only the second home match I've missed this season. But I'd promised the kids I'd take them somewhere else. I'd even rearranged, by telling lies, work commitments to make sure that I was at home next Thursday and Friday. I never thought we'd be playing at home in the first leg until the team gave up in the last week of the season. Even then I'd have not bothered running in the 10k on Sunday to be there, but we get the Saturday game. So that's 3 season ticket holders who won't make it.

People do have lives, they do make commitments and spend money on them, especially moving into the summer, and looking at this thread lots of other people are in the same boat.
