There's nothing wrong with saying a ball went over the line if it did tbf marra. I don't have an agenda. I'd say the same if it was any other team in the world. Luck was in our side that game. In some games luck has been against us. It happens. Don't need to pretend otherwise.
That picture quite clearly does not show the ball over the line. Got any others? There being a gap between line and ball does not mean it went over. The ball is round and it's widest point is off the ground, you do know that?

21000 with the rest of today and tomorrow to go. I hoped we'd need to open the premier concourse, looks like we could close half the lower bowl too.

Just bought some and it looked like limited availability in most sections (at least those I fancied) and I noticed there were sales 'in progress' (orange) in every section I looked in. Surprised if that is where we are at.

It's the play offs. It'll be 20,000 short of capacity and close to the lowest crowd of the season. It is embarrassing. Our support has rightly received a lot of praise this season. It will receive a lot of piss taking/criticism on Saturday and rightly so.

Piss taking off who? Portsmouth? As they prepare for their 19,000 bumper crowd? Our fiends up the road who are playing premier league but still twist and moan.... and have never experienced being fifth in league 1. Leeds, Man City, Sheffield Utd?

Plenty to take the piss out of at our club - getting 30k for a league 1 team is weak territory for the piss takers like.

Absolutely baffling that we got 41k for the league game a few weeks back so that must be at the very least 35k normal seats in home end. Where have 14k went? Its a Saturday ffs, I could understand a midweek for exiles etc but if we end up being 10k+ short of the league game a few weeks back its absolutely pathetic.

The opposition still haven't sold out their "meagre" allocation, I don't think the apathy just belongs to us. Nowt will be won or lost on Saturday, far more important a game next Thursday tbh.

Thursdays match IS NOT more important than Saturdays. How people come out with this shit is beyond me. We need to get there in our numbers to roar the lads on to a huge win. 3-0 or 4-0 meanin Portsmouth have too much to do in the 2nd leg.

This.

It looked awful on TV when we played Accrington and there was 27/28k there.
At the he same time, attendances are put out at 28k, when we all know 28k haven't came through the turnstiles. Probably more like 23/24k and SC holders are counted regardless. This time you have to buy a ticket, so would assume all who have bought a ticket will go. Attendance might only be say 25k, but stadium will look as full as a game with apparently 28k there.

Perfectly put. Folk go on as if people have a problem needing a pint at half time.
It shouldnt be the hassle it is. A friend started working there this season and shes constantly bewildered by the fecking morons around her.
Last game they ran out of lager ffs. When people insisted on it the lasses were walking to the bar next door, very slowly, n bringing one back!

Exactly. Like many others I work all week. Saturday is a day when I like to relax, and I choose to do that by having some drinks and going to the match. If you've had a few before kick off you tend to want another at half time, especially if you're then going to have some after the match. Obviously I could go without, but I'd rather not. I wait until there's a break in play around the 40 minute mark and go then so that I don't overly disturb those around me. I watch the last few minutes of the half on the tele, get served about when the whistle goes, and can then have my pint before the second half starts. I find it canny but like I say I wouldn't miss a minute of the match if they could actually get you served quickly. I then stay until the end.

Still find it staggering how long they can take to serve people though, and they used to have those mobile beer things you could go to in the north stand which also sped things up if you just wanted lager, they seem to have gone now. I've been down at a decent time, only about 5 ahead of me in the queue and it's still taken ages, pouring each pint to order, f***ing about trying to get change. Takes at least a minute to serve most people, which doesn't sound like ages but come down on the halftime whistle with 20 people before you in the queue and it becomes an issue. We should be wanting the club to look into that, rather than suggesting that people should just go without a pint instead

Charlton have sold 20,000 for their home tie a week tomorrow

People make arrangements in advance. I went away the day after the Portsmouth game so I didn't miss it. I've got a weekend away this week to watch a more important football competition.

I'm on a stag doo Satda so wont be there. Not even bothered.

Nor will I be going to Wembley as cant afford it and weekend before payday on a 5 week month.

People arranged events not thinking our team would be shit enough to only finish in the league one playoffs. Simple really.
