It's not totally different to a league game though, is it? The prize at the end is promotion via the league system, the same as Barnsley and Luton have achieved via the regular season.
It's not a league game. The league is 46 games long. 23 at home. 23 away. These are play off games. Not league games.

As do most people on this forum....Look at the statements about the football "is always lifting" we are "shite", the standard of football is "shite".

At times its lifting, at times its excellent and at times poor.

We are not shite, shite sides dont lose just 6 games in 46. We are a good league 1 side.

The standard of football is not shite, the standard of football in the 3rd tier is below that of the top two divisions but you still see one of the best 50 teams in English football.

To be fair to him I asked him a question which he answered.....Also think the mags on the board have not taken the piss anywhere near as much as we would have if it was the other way round.
Eh? This is a Sunderland forum I can't get my head around ever posting on a mag forum or paying money to watch your rivals. You're starting to sound like a mag apologist.

So if you get points in a league game but not in a play off, how can it be a league game?
Winning a play off is pointless, a bit like yourself to be fair.

Fair play for you for putting money into something you consider pointless, like.

Well in the past haven’t you claimed you only comment on mag threads ? Anyway it’s a while since I had a pop at you so just stay quiet.

No. Stop talking shite trying to derail the thread. You're embarrassing yourself.

Some saddos would watch a game up Thompson Park while out walking the dog mate, just obsessed with football.....Stick a few quid on and any game becomes interesting.
Well, that was me 40 years ago when I used to go to RP to watch the stiffs play. Main stand paddocks, smell of bovril. Awful football.
