Championship transfers

If they can get a young, rapid loan or two like Jebbison they might have a decent crack at coming straight back up, so far though it’s a recruitment strategy based on “ Have played in higher leagues, used to be good, will hopefully be too good for league one”
Not dissimilar to some of our recruitment albeit players that were genuinely good at some point whereas ours were “ played in championship, must be good enough for league one” signings.
Sheffield United won't release Jebbison this season, he will be first team material for them this season.

no Premier League player had ever managed 36 shots on target or had an expected goals rating of 6.2 without finding the net he was getting the chances he can’t finish

This is where football is much more than stats.

Scoring goals breeds confidence. He played for a struggling side in England's top league.

Now he'll play for a strong Derby County side who will be at least in the top 6 next season. He may not be the greatest finisher but he'll have a good season next year in league one.

Impossible to predict where derby will come. Look at Ipswich and sheff Wednesday, they came down with much stronger squads than derby and signed what most people thought were good players, and they have done well below expected.

Derby have lost all their better players and having to create a whole new squad. Not as easy as saying they will finish top 6 easy they’ve got a tough season ahead of them

Hourinhane McGoldrick and Chester are all much better signings than Ipswich made. Sheffield Wed made top 6 as well so strange comparison

He was getting the changes to score goals and missing :):) he’s just a workhorse as his whole career scoring record point out

Not strange at all, how’s it strange? Sheffield Wednesday came down expecting to piss the league, they came down much stronger than derby and barely scraped top 6.

Strange post
