CC : Warwickshire v Durham

Wish the ECB would fuck off with using it. Stupid bloody idea.

It looks incredibly flat. Worcestershire were about 300 for 3 in their second innings at this venue last weekend.
Depends on how you view the CC. Is it supposed to get our players playing for England or is it about the Counties winning matches.

Not sure what benefit having medium fast bowlers running riot with the Dukes in April is. If they then just fail miserably in places like Aus/NZ where it is flatter and this ball is used.

Just take Chris Woakes as the perfect example a fine cricketer but absolutely hopeless away from home.

If Potts/Carse can't take wickets with the Kookaburra on flat wickets they ain't going to be much use in them countries.

Sam Cook taking 10/73 with the Kookaburra is the sort of thing we need to see.

They've just said on commentary that despite the very very short boundary there's been an awful lot of runs gone through the longer side.

Possible being very aware of the danger of the short boundary the bowlers are over compensating.

Potts was great with the Kookaburra last season.

This is down to a poor strategic decision, putting a team into bat on an excellent batting wicket IMO.

That session couldn't have went any worse for us. The bowling has been wayward and we look bereft of ideas on a flat wicket.
