Absolutely pointless run out when Clark was just getting settled. Trevaskis seemed to call it, he's been involved in a few run outs.

Just checked: ruling comes into place this September, so he can play, but presumably has no future at Durham after that.
Yeah, I don't think he'll have a contract next year as we'd rather allocate our overseas slot to someone else. I think the ruling of Irish players as overseas players is intended to encourage more of the Irish players to play in the Irish league continuing to strengthen that competition and therefore benefit the test side by creating a bigger/better pool to choose from.

Minimum of 80 overs to play tomorrow, weather permitting, plus 20 tonight would mean a target of 4 an over for Leicester. Is it worth the risk declaring soon or just leave 10 overs tonight and hope to get a quick wicket or two? Thoughts?

96 overs in a day Dougal.

Durham lads in their whites on the balcony by all accounts. 100 partnership for the 7th wicket.

487-6 - lead is 391.
