Jack Campbell

A tall left-arm seamer, Jack Campbell joined Durham in the summer of 2018 after impressing on trial.

The former Hampshire academy prospect put in a string of good performances for the Second XI & earned a call-up for England under-19s, making his debut against South Africa at South North CC in July 2018.

Campbell also studies at Durham University & appeared for their MCCU side against his Durham team mates in the 2019 pre-season fixture

I was surprised to see this name on the scorecard.

Are Weighell, Carse, Salisbury and Potts all injured? Or are they deliberately rotating young players into the team?

He's taken about three wickets all seasons for second XI.

Marty at the start of the game said that Carse is being rested to manage his workload, Weighell had a bruised foot and Potts shin splints and i think Sailsbury is still injured.

Cheers marra.

Potts needs to buy some better boots!

300 up. Rimmington could get picked on batting alone right now.

Is Rimmington making a late bid for Player of the Season:D....or maybe a new contract.
I reckon when they asked for a volunteer for nightwatchman Rimmington would have jumped so fast he could have bounced his head off the roof. Fair play to him it's worked out for him, top of the batting averages.

309-2 at Lunch. Rimmington 70*, Harte 15*.

Lead of 214.

We hold all the aces at present, I think this session should be the ‘moving’ session personally, chance of rain tomorrow afternoon so I’d like to see us negotiate this new ball and then towards the back end of the afternoon push on towards a declaration. Re can re-assess at Tea and then think about how many overs tonight we want Rushy and co to have at Leicestershire.

He had some decent gritty knocks at the beginning of last season and what impressed me was he always looked devastasted when he was out.

Who'd have thought Rimmington would get back in the side as a specialist batsman.

Equalled Clark and Burnham's contribution in terms of 50s in 3 innings
