CC : Essex v Durham

Yes,DeLeede is certainly a favourite of Campbell. To my mind Coughlin is the better player. Tough on Clark but I don't think he can get in ahead of any in that top 6.
Yeah they definitely rate him. As i said earlier on the thread his output has been decent for a first class novice but when i have seen him especially at the ground he can look faily ordinary.

That line up on Twitter suggests as expected at the top of the order but does have Parko above Raine and Potts,
I wouldn't read too much into that. There will be no way Parkinson will go in ahead of Raine and Potts or even Siddle come to that matter who batted well in the last game against Somerset

Fantastic news that he’s playing at riverside

Great for locals

Feared he would play in this

Think it makes more sense personally

Strong squad that, lots of options
I dunno say he picks up a knock against Worcs and then can't play against Windies that would be a disaster.

Surely a 2 week gap between games is better unless the view is a longer gap between games more likely to not be as match fit.

I'm not a sport scientist I'm sure there's method in the decision.

Not sure you do with regards to bowling though? Sometimes more dangerous to stop and start, he will be bowling fit for it

Either way I’m pleased selfishly, was a pleasure to watch him bowl live that last game, was quite noticeable how much better and quicker he was than anyone on either side

I always felt if he couldn’t hold a bat he could have opener bowling for England as he swings it miles
