CC : Essex v Durham


Great watching Harmer being taken to the cleaners for a change. However no doubt he will come into his own later on in the game. Good first session for the D’s.

I got pelters on here before the CC break for criticising the coaches for not addressing Borthwick's loss of form. His game is in a mess and has been for some time and the issues clearly haven't been addressed. This should have been done during his break during T20 rather than spending his time on the golf course,on his own admission, and in the commentary box.He's played 1 game of club cricket during that period.

He was playing for the seconds at Burnopfield last week (Mon - Wed) Unfortunately Yorkshire batted around 42 overs between a 1:40 pm start and an early close at 5:45 ish . Tuesday was a washout and the game abandoned before Wednesday.. Agree he could’ve played NEPL cricket during the slap and tickle games
