CC :: Durham v Derbyshire

Given the square has been relayed and it’s usually tricky batting first at the Riverside at this time of year I would’ve opted to bowl. But after a poor start hopefully opting to bat first will prove to be the correct decision.

Same, which is a shame. Only appears to be a camera at one end too.

Will try and get the commentary on my phone and ‘sync’ the audio to the video :lol:
that link you posted said Durham had invested to show multi camera action. Need to have a word with their supplier!

Luis Reece opens the batting and bowling for them, ‘military medium’ (if that), seams it both ways. One of those bizarre characters @Mackem DJ will be all owa.

Started his career as an opening bat and about fifth change bowler. Now takes the new ball :lol:
Spin on the first morning :eek:
Left armer too. Something straight out the INternational Cricket Captain files

They’ve got multiple cameras in action in fairness, just lacking one behind the bowlers arm at the Lumley End :lol:

Canny recovery, still think there’s a bit in it for the bowlers though so a big session coming up for our batsmen.

Bedingham 50* from 82 balls with 8 fours. Gan on Bedders lad, treble it :cool:

Lees never looked that comfortable for me. Nearly chopped on twice, nearly ran Bedingham out and don't think he middled anything.

Just need Burnham to play sensibly not the usual blood and thunder stuff

Variable bounce :oops:
i wonder if batting first was in part due to not having a clue how this pitch will play come day 4 and wanting to get batting out of the way as early as possible :lol: there was a ball to lees (iirc) very early on that absolutely died.
