When I go on train journeys now I prefer to buy a daft book for 50p from a junk shop as opposed to spending £6.99 on a magazine from wh smiths - last week I had Gary Barlows autobiography which I left on a train for someone else to enjoy!

Been looking on Amazon Kindle books for something interesting, but can’t see anything left I fancy that I haven’t already read.
Most of it is absolute garbage, sc fi, psycho, horror,and ridiculous fantasy.
For me a good novel should have an original plot, a good degree of credibility and a touch of humour.
