Idiots mate. Loads of em. Can only look back and not forward. This sounds great. Really don't understand why some people are moaning about this. People need to move with the times.
Good god please don’t tell me you’re not an alter ego of that norm lunatic. You’d be better off being Fiona if that’s the caseMillion miles away, nice to see you smile though
I don’t think it’s norm. He’s back though. On the golf thread.Good god please don’t tell me you’re not an alter ego of that norm lunatic. You’d be better off being Fiona if that’s the case![]()

It was quite funny the way they went on about it. But then plenty said exactly what you have. It was no more than an outside toilet.I always used to wonder when a load of folk would regularly pile in on news of this in the Echo site saying it is a disgrace and they sea front needs shelter from the elements.
I’ve never seen more than a couple of people sitting there, generally with a dog having a piss inside it.
Looking forward to this opening.
Did you see the 4 comments?
One said looks fab. The other 3 were
It is currently put to good use. We sheltered under it a few weeks ago when caught in a heavy rain shower! Where else on the seafront is there any shelter other than having to go into a pub and buy something? Especially if you have children or grandchildren with you!!!
Certainly NOT a welcome addition! Leave the building alone. No more coffee shops are needed!
With suitably eye watering prices, I imagine.
Funny how there was only 4 comments as well, there used to be thousands of comments posted by furious residents when the miller development was going to destroy seaburn. Funny how not one of the main gobshites commented on that particular post. it’s as if once their view was lost they no longer wanted to ‘save Seaburn’ although I have seen them having a dig at it on other local groups.
Nee ones going out in this weather man.slates missing from the roof yesterday
No where to shelter now in this weather
It looks absolutely chos
Nee ones going out in this weather man.
Yeah I'm sure they'd have chosen to head out in this just to have a leisurely sit down and breathe in the piss fumes. They can’t now as there’s no shelter
Well said mateId like everyone concerned to know just how much I appreciate the efforts being made to spruce up Sunderland in time for my return in 5-6 yrs. Youve all done verrrrry wellllllllll
Cheers marra. I’m including yourself in that group anarl btw with KLD, Uncle Tone, KS, The Naz, the new council feller whose getting these new city centre offices built, pop recs, the fire station, the new sea front stuff, the new bridge etc.Well said mate![]()
I suspect we have seen the end of new cinemas opening, the arse has fallen out of their business model so I can't even see another operator reopening the one that's closed.Cheers marra. The place is barely recognisable to an exile from visit to visit. Keep up the good work everyone and best of luck to the film studio lads in getting their project ower the line. Getting an actual cinema needs sorting but I can wait. Keep it up everyone.
I knar. I got piss wet standing waiting for the tram earlier and the bugger never showed upThey can’t now as there’s no shelter
