Which eatery did they try to stop? You should be sat on your knees thanking SaveSeaburn for all the nice recent leisure developments, the bars, the restaurants on the seafront. If it wasn’t for SaveSeaburn, Siglion would have had it their way and the whole seafront would have been a row of grey tall buildings and some more cheaply build housing estates…

I'm sure that comment is tongue in cheek but it would be funny to imagine you lot actually think you influenced the developments.

I said nimby twats, the original save seaburn campaign had a point until miller announced their plans. As soon as the fuming south bents nimby harpies got their talons into the wet lettuce Belgian it became a pathetic save my view joke.
Shame as it started with good intentions 👍

The campaign was poor from the start mate. The only time it should any real leadership was when that lass got involved following the Miller announcement.

The implosion following Brexit was funny though (even to a staunch remainer)

The campaign wasn’t great like but it did have a point, I wasn’t massively in favour of the original plans for seaburn but would have took them over an abandoned fairground, disused leisure centre and a field littered with dog shit. My beef with the save my view lot was because of the hitler-esq leadership. They somehow got mods in pretty much every local social media group and silenced anyone who remotely backed the miller plans. I chuckle every time I see those sweet new houses when I’m walking the daft lad.

Aye even though the vote didn’t go the way I wanted, I found the Belgians meltdown hilarious, what a minge piece :lol:
