They've got the rights back to make X-Men and Fantasic Four movies now, I doubt the MCU is going anywhere. Look forward to another decade of movies leading up to Galactus.

Personally if they are going down the cosmic being route for the big bad, I would have gone with The Celestials, Galactus even fears them and they are even taller than him (average height 2000 feet and weigh approx 260 tons) - They were glimpsed briefly in Guardians Of The Galaxy also the head that is Knowhere in GOTG is the severed head of a Celestial.
