Go for it. Once you get the first week out of the way you won’t even look back. Think of something you really want that’s just out of reach right now because of finances in the current job and set a time frame for achieving it. When you get it, is such a buzz. Many moons ago I’d set a target of saving up enough to take my mam and close family out for her birthday and picking up the bill for everyone. Always wanted to treat them and also to show that I was “a proper adult” (well at least on the surface)Got a job interview tomorrow at Fujifilm, the money's way way more than I'm on but I've never done shift work before. I think I've got a pretty good chance of getting it but it leaves me with a pretty big decision. I'm comfortable where I'm at, get on with everyone and good at the job on a cushy shift, but pay is poor.
I struggle a bit with new people, so the prospect of moving into a different job in a new environment is a bit daunting for me. But on the flip side, I see my mates going out all the time or booking holidays and stuff and I simply can't afford to, feels like life is passing me by. If I get this job the massive financial boost would improve my life greatly and help me save up a house deposit way quicker.
