Anyone own their own villa/apartment abroad? Where abouts is it? Do you live in it part of the year and rent out the rest?

Know a few people who have moved back with regrets. Usually when ill health hits- if you arent fluent it can be frightening and certainly disorientating to understand let alone navigate a very different health system; missing seeing the grandchildren grow up deems to affect a few; third most common reason is when kids get to secondary school age. Most people tbough after two years rarely seem to go back

Looked at buying a second home abroad but
I get bored easy going to same place
I don’t really trust foreigners and have heard a few stories of those who have bought abroad.
I’d miss home too much and all the shitty weather
Would rather keep money in bank

Isn't that where Ronaldo has his museum?
Yeah, it's a bit of a shit museum but the city is lovely. He built a wing on the hospital, a school and some sort of old people's shelter. He comes from there I think.

Oh and I've got a place abroad, wouldn't dream of renting it, great idea of our lass to buy where we did, love it, spend six months there six months here, happy days.
